This is the blog, which I will update with news and relevant information as it becomes available, to keep whānau and students in the loop about what is happening at school. This year the school has changed the rules around the use of smart devices (anything that can access the internet, such as an Android phone or an iPad) so that teachers may allow students to use them for educational purposes at their discretion. This does NOT mean such devices are compulsory however, nor does it means that they are by default allowed to be used - this instruction will come from the individual classroom teacher. In order for this to be an option, students will be able to access the school wi-fi network, essentially operating at zero cost to the student (as data from the plan will not be used). The login details for the network however, will only be given upon receipt of a Cybersafety Use Agreement (a copy of which can be found below). This must be signed by a parent/guardian and the student. Please keep the front 2 pages as a reference. To see more about this development, follow the link below
